Initiation

A private client with a family office wanted a credit line, without providing a personal guarantee, as the clients’ net worth and assets greatly exceeded the amount of the credit line or the amount under management at the subject bank.
 

Execution

The Nellis team performed a review of the facility. The bank responded that it typically requested personal guarantees, despite a significant variance in respect of the line versus the assets and net worth of the client.
 

Resolution

We negotiated an asset based lending line with the bank, and successfully removed the client’s personal guarantee.
